This Privacy Policy explains what personal data DM Site Builder collects from operators using dmsitebuilder.com ("the Service") and how we handle it.

Who we are

DM Site Builder is operated from the United Kingdom. We are the controller for personal data you provide to us directly. For data about your own customers who contact you via your generated site, you are the controller and we are a processor acting on your behalf.

What we collect from you

• Account details: business name, contact email, phone number, city, and the content you add to your site (services, fleet, reviews, etc).
• Billing details: handled by Stripe — we receive your billing email, last-4 of your card, and subscription status, but never your full card number.
• Technical: IP address, browser type, and basic usage analytics needed to run the Service securely.

What we collect on your behalf from your customers

When someone submits the enquiry form on your subdomain, we receive their name, phone, email, and message. We forward this to your email address and do not retain the content beyond what is needed to deliver it.

How we use your data

• To provide and run the Service.
• To bill you for subscriptions.
• To send you operational emails (welcome, sign-in links, receipts).
• To respond to your support enquiries.

We do not sell your data, do not share it with advertisers, and do not use it for marketing beyond service-related emails.

• Supabase (database + auth) — hosted in the EU.
• Vercel (web hosting + CDN) — global edge network.
• Stripe (payments) — PCI-DSS compliant.
• Resend (transactional email).

Retention

We keep account data while your subscription is active and for 12 months after cancellation, then delete it. Billing records are retained for 6 years to meet HMRC requirements.
